On Monday, July 6, the Small Business Administration released the database of the largest recipients of Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans.
Here is the spreadsheet with the list of Charlotte companies, which includes the approximate amount received, the number of jobs saved, the lender and other information about the company and the loan:

The federal government started the PPP to provide relief to struggling small businesses about a month after the start of the Covid pandemic. Many companies applied for the loans, which convert to grants if recipients meet employment thresholds.
