What? South Charlotte Partners (SCP), a nonprofit advocacy organization, announced the November SCP Breakfast Club topic, “Driving Growth – Economic Development in South Charlotte.” The business community and residents alike will learn about the state of economic development in South Charlotte from several leaders creating local growth.
Expert speakers include:

·         Tracy Dodson, moderator for this discussion, Assistant City Manager and Director of Economic Development, City of Charlotte

·         John Barton, President of Northwood Office

·         Ron Pappas, Owner of New Leaf Development and Former Mayor of Waxhaw

·         Chris Thomas, Partner, Retail, Childress Klein

 Panelists will discuss current economic development efforts, recent successful projects and the future economic landscape of South Charlotte. In addition to addressing how the area contributes to the broader regional economic development ecosystem, speakers will share the roles they play in the area’s overall growth.
