What? South Charlotte Partners (SCP), a nonprofit advocacy organization, today announced the topic for the February SCP Breakfast Club: "Growing Global Business in South Charlotte?" The event will bring together leaders from various international business chambers and organizations to discuss the opportunities, challenges and resources available for growing global businesses in the region.

The panel will feature experts from diverse international communities who will share their perspectives on how South Charlotte is becoming a hub for global commerce. Panelists will discuss the strategies that international businesses use to succeed in the area and the role that cultural understanding and community support play in driving growth.

Panelists for the event include:

Hans Hilgenstock, German Chamber of Commerce

Ann Gonzales, Carolina Asian American Chamber

Troy Pelshak, African Business Community

Aleksandra Degernes, Eastern European Chamber of Commerce

Jose Alvarez, Prospera North Carolina

The event will be hosted in a panel discussion format, encouraging open dialogue between panelists and the audience. Attendees will also have the chance to ask questions and engage directly with the experts following the discussion.

“South Charlotte is becoming an increasingly important global business hub, and we’re excited to bring together international business leaders to explore how we can continue to grow our international business community,” said Ben Mears, Board Chair of South Charlotte Partners. “This is a unique opportunity to hear from a diverse group of business leaders and learn how South Charlotte can position itself as a leader in the global economy.”
