The Queen City: Then and Now

What? As part of the opening celebration for the exhibition "Southern/Modern," four prominent Charlotteans will join in a panel discussion to reflect on what was happening in the Queen City during the first half  of the 20th century and how it informs the present.

Panelists include artist Nellie Ashford, author Pamela Grundy, and Indigenous historian Barbara Locklear. The discussion will be moderated by Janeen Bryant, executive director of the Community Building Initiative.
