Public document: the new Heafner lawsuit that mentions Charlotte media

Ten plaintiffs from the Charlotte area are suing financial adviser Jim Heafner and the brokerage he was affiliated after they lost significant amounts of retirement savings. The suit says that nine of the investors heard about Heafner from WBTV or WBT. The victims thought the segments with Heafner were news interviews, but in reality they were ads.
